What happens with Kyle Smith?

This sort of reminds me of when the mighty Eric Schaffer left and all the consternation over that. Somehow we survived.

Totally different animal, capologist vs talent acquisition. Sure bring in Hurney or others without Smith (if he leaves) that will be your tell tale sign.

I mean no disrespect to Schaffer but let's be honest, we went almost 30 years without an elite talent evaluator who knows what he's doing. Do I want him to walk? No. At the same time, Ron likes experience, and Kyle doesn't have enough of it. I hope there's a way to keep him, but acknowledge if the two don't see eye to eye a separation is likely incoming. It is what it is. It's not the end of the world if he leaves.
