Re: WFT Free Agency
Moreland is a CB3, nothing more, which is what Moreau was... There are likely to be a lot of third tier CBs available after the draft and will probably be several good options in the third round anyway. WFT could do with a good slot option which is where Moreau was playing as I understand it, I think they prefer Moreland on the outside. Given the amount of "heavy nickel" they play since Kurl arrived I don't think they want to spend a lot on a slot corner unless they June 1st Landon Collins.

Re: WFT Free Agency
Humphries seems like the guy that would fill the role that Cody Latimer was supposed to fill last year.

Re: WFT Free Agency
My guess is he would be Steven Sims Jr's replacement.

Re: WFT Free Agency
Would be a great move and a MAJOR upgrade over Sims Jr! WR wouldn’t be that high of a draft priority, if we can get this done.

Re: WFT Free Agency
Humphries would be a nice add. A true slot guy so we can line up Samuel all over the place.

He played with Fitzpatrick for 2 years in Tampa as well in 17 and 18, so there is a connection there.

Re: WFT Free Agency
Funny how when there is a connection with players fans say that's a good thing, but bringing in coaches or front office guys with connections is lazy, or cronyism.

Re: WFT Free Agency
No apology necessary, we're all just thinking out loud.
Looking back at their time together, the stats don't represent anything overwhelming, but the familiarity would likely be a plus. |

Re: WFT Free Agency
Humphries has some elusiveness in him, good YAC threat. You can see how he works underneath and shakes free in a lot of cases when attention is diverted to Mike Evans. He should find similar opportunities here with attention on Samuel, Terry, and Logan Thomas.
