No. We can’t control that though. We can control what happens here and like Matty said the preparedness and handling has to be waaaaay better then what happened last year. Starting with sounding alarm bells instead of keeping it close to the vest trying to figure out how it is going to effect someones re-election strategy. Also not downplaying it for months - too many knuckleheads out there that cannot think for themselves and wind up spreading dangerous untruths about masks being bullshit and it being a hoax etc. Sometimes shitty shit happens, so we deal with it. There are no easy answers or conspiracies at play. It is just an unfortunate part of life and if there is a next time we need to take it seriously right away. Not waste months and lives pretending it isn’t real.
