Oh I'd say 0% at this point (although - are reenactors still a thing(that was a thing in the late 90s early oughts)? If so I wouldn't call most of them racists, but imagine it might be hard on them to follow their hobby during today's American version of the Cultural Revolution).

I'm conservative, so I haven't appointed myself to the Racist Police task force.

I don't know the % and neither do you. But you still call everyone that has one a racist. You know you won't get any push back here. You have no proof, but it's not required.

If you cared, you could look it up on Google, about the confederate flag, and how some people actually do like the south for non-racist reasons.

I think every region of our country has large populations of people that are proud of their region. You literally live in the area of the country with the most obnoxious regional homers we have. So surely you're aware of it.

You can just read the last paragraph. It is exactly what is happening. The far right is afraid of what MLK envisioned so they have distorted CRT to the point that people hear it from either side and think it is counter productive, essentially killing it from becoming what it was intended to become. Like i have said time and time again, the far right has one goal in mind … leave well enough (for rich white people) alone. Fear tactics (ie the caravan at the border, the “inner city” folks coming for your suburban utopia), attacking CRT or anything else that dare address the problem.

One person was killed and three injured Sunday night after the driver of an SUV drove into a crowd of protesters in the Uptown area of Minneapolis, near the site where Winston Smith was shot by sheriff's deputies earlier this month.

A witness said the eastbound SUV was moving at a high rate of speed as it approached just before midnight, and that the driver appeared to accelerate as they got closer to demonstrators who had blocked off Lake Street near Girard Avenue.

The driver struck a vehicle parked across one of the traffic lanes on Lake Street, apparently positioned to protect the crowd. That second vehicle then hit people.

Police said early Monday that the investigation into the incident was still beginning, although they believe the driver may have been impaired by drugs or alcohol.

Garrett Knajdek, who lives in Georgia, identified the woman who died as his sister, Deona Erickson. He said she would have been 32 on Wednesday.

He said Erickson worked managing group homes and was a devoted caregiver, as well as a mother of two school-age girls, age 13 and 8.

I was annoyed when protestors shut down some roads in Baltimore years ago .. but ramming protestors at midnight? Person was looking to kill ... now a mom of 2 is dead.

I think the new Florida and Texas laws giving immunity to drivers who hit protestors is just really bad optics and politics. Just groveling to the extreme section of right wing people who see that as a tacit green light to hit and kill BLM protestors.
