This isn't really a political thread. We don't discuss anything besides who sucks worse.

90% of this thread is:

Step 1: Chico brings up something negative about Biden (not discussing warranted or not)
Step 2: G1 calls him stupid and/or tells him to STFU
Step 3: Punch blames Trump and/or says Trump was worse
Step 4: Rinse and repeat

Note - Sometimes Step 3 is Step 2 and step 2 is step 3. But it's a 4 step process for shizzle.

Pretty sad when there's a vocal segment of a party that would rather see nothing get done at all vs. working across the aisle to deliver legislation that would improve all of our lives.

Glad the GOP were able to crush the progressives to deliver the bipartisan legislation.

I think we all feel this way sometimes when arguing about politics here.

I'm on a group chat with 3 of my best homies in the world. It's an even 2/2 split between conservatives and liberals. The other conservative guy who moved back to CO, sent a screenshot of a CA gas station charging like $5.50 a gallon, and this was verbatim, a response from one of my liberal buddies:

"Can't afford it, get out! It's how we're dealing with traffic. CA is horrible..."

Him and his wife, I love them both, both work for the government and just bought a house worth over a million dollars. Caught me off guard that he said that, while basically getting rich off of working for the government, largely paid for by people he'd gladly have leave our state because they can't pay for it and all the other expenses in CA.

Matt Gaetz said on Wednesday that he thought Kyle Rittenhouse would make a good congressional intern.

"We may reach out to him and see if he'd be interested in helping the country in additional ways," Gaetz said of Rittenhouse.

A jury is currently deliberating if Rittenhouse is guilty of five felonies, including first-degree homicide.

Florida congressman Matt Gaetz said he thought Kyle Rittenhouse would make a good congressional intern and said he may contact him to make the job offer happen if he's "interested."

In an interview on Newsmax on Wednesday, Gaetz spoke up in defense of Rittenhouse, saying he deserved a "not guilty" verdict even as a 12-person jury continues to deliberate the verdict.

"He deserves a not guilty verdict, and I sure hope he gets it because you know what, Kyle Rittenhouse would probably make a pretty good congressional intern," Gaetz said. "We may reach out to him and see if he'd be interested in helping the country in additional ways."
