Washington signed LT Charles Leno, formerly of the Bears, to a one-year, $5 million contract.
Leno, shockingly cut by Chicago in April, could replace the role vacated by LT Trent Williams two years ago. The Football Team used its second round draft pick this year on T Sam Cosmi, who could compete with Leno for the Week 1 starting job protecting Ryan Fitzpatrick's blindside. Pro Football Focus rated Leno the league's 26th best tackle in 2020. Washington had the NFL's third best pass-blocking offensive line in 2020, according to PFF.

I don't blame him, we've been hearing parrot report after parrot report that he's mad we're bringing in competition and completely ignoring the fact that he played very well last year.

Yes, we've all wanted the "next Trent Williams" but our O-Line ranked very well last season, especially Lucas. They're the last posotion group to blame for offensive struggles last season.
