Is he great? Time will tell. We just need Sweat and Young to be all over him and then we’ll see. Dallas will be better defensively- they could really only improve there - as they have better players and Quinn is a solid defensive coach. But by how much?

The Giants are an improved team too and will have Barkley back. They added two excellent WRs which was a serious weakness. The O line is still suspect and their skills players will hopefully be very limited by it.

The Eagles will be crap, I think.

The end of our season could be a lot of fun - consequential division games against teams we love to hate. Bring it.

The Giants are clearly our biggest in-division threat, their offense really improved but their defense will not compete with ours.

Last year - 12th ranked D, We were 2nd.

True, but I think their D improved over the course of the season after some rougher outings early on. I think Dallas and NY will be real tests for us and I think overall the NFCE will be better than in recent years.

Of course, injuries will be key (as is always true). Which is why our recent efforts at creating more depth across the board are so welcome.
