Probably because he's consistently terrible. You know what he's going to do 95% of the time - his stated goal since Obama took office is to oppose everything Dems do. Shit on me all you want but at this point there's nothing to do against McConnell but root for father time. He's been leading the Republicans for over a decade and we still don't have a solid answer for his strategy.

Yeah. His only concern is staying in office, at least we know he cried a bit when he no longer was majority leader.
