Spiders had historical significance and would have been a better choice. The "Guardians" fonts even look like they're from 1980s Indians uniforms. I have a significant amount of Cherokee; just a few generations back was a pure Cherokee woman, my great grandmother. I have some say in this...and neither Redskins or ESPECIALLY NOT Indians are offensive...I took pride in having my favorite football team honor my heritage. Last year, I bought a "LONG LIVE CHEIF WAHOO" t-shirt in protest when the liberals canceled him.   The Guardians logo is atrocious.
