Come up with a new name for the Redskins

Oh thanks, hadn't seen that.

While being a fervent Redwolves/Wolves supporter, I know after the first sentiment of deception I'd be cool with pretty much any other name too, with a cool logo and all.

The thing for me with Spartans is, while ancient and current greek people likely wouldn't get offended, do they really want to go down the human mascot route again ?

I think it's going to be Wolves, maybe RedWolves, and these videos are ways of prepping the fan base. Spartans was mainly from fan comments, not anything specific.

Initially I was receptive to Redwolves, but now it just seems like an easy copout to appeal to Redskins fans. Like "if we keep it close to Redskins, we won't lose as many fans."

There's gotta be an original name out there that can still be great without disparaging some group of people. I want a clean start. A nu start, if you will.

Wait, you don't like it because it appeals to Redskins fans? I am sure that isn't what you meant, but it sounds weird.

I actually think it's going to be wolves. I know I am micro-analyzing that video, but in the first flip frame part you see a Wolves submission. Then they show RedHogs (seriously has anyone said Red Hogs???) and the fan says, I like it if they drop the Red.

Subtle things like that are ways media makers influence subtly.

They are leading us to accept Washington Wolves, and I think that's an awesome name.
