To add I have two SIL both Military ,one a MGySgt at Lejeune the other a First Sergeant in the 82nd at Bragg he's the one who has been deployed 4 times to Afghanistan (not there right now)

I only visited Afghanistan (TDY) once about 12 years ago, Iraq is where I did my tours.

My other SIL (the Marine) did two in Iraq and one in Egypt at the Embassy.
