Re: Giants postgame

Question about Heineken, can he be an effective starter answered last night.

Worried about the defense, but like said above can be fixed. I thought we were gonna play more man this year…guess not?

Fuller is bad now, idk what has happened.. WJ3 Is solid and will get better with the new scheme. Moreland should have been kept

Fuller was getting beat in outside coverage last year, he is much better as a slot.

There wasn't exactly a rush to sign Moreland once we cut him, if any team thought he was worth it they would have traded a 7th rounder for his rights. He would not be fixing our coverage issues

Don't know what you saw in Moreland, if he was any good he'd still be here.
Not even active for Texans week 1.

He was a solid #4-5CB, but to think that somehow him being here this year would be making any difference whatsoever is a bit of a stretch.

Totally agree, Moreland would be making zero difference right now. I get it, it was a curious move at the time to keep Apke mainly as a special teams guy, but Apke hasn't been out there. So what good would Moreland be doing right now considering he wouldn't even be playing.

Moreland's cut didn't have much to do with Apke. It had to do with what they think St Juste, Darryl Roberts, and even McCain can do.

Now, we play quite a lot of nickel and even dime, so yeah, Moreland could be playing quite a lot. And considering rookie St Juste has had his fair share of struggles (as can be expected from a rookie), and Fuller is playing really bad, don't you think we could've used last year's 3rd best slot corner by next gen stat in the rotation ?

Of our three who has played the worst over these first 2 games? To me it seems Jackson has been the biggest liability which is concerning as he was supposed to be the best of the three.

I don’t think one game on a short week really answers much. I love me some Heinicke, but this Bills game will tell us so much more about how teams prepare and play him. One other thing, he needs to play with the same oomph whether we are 4 points up or 4 points down.
