It is more than one ugly loss. It is three butt ugly games by our defense, a starting quarterback getting hurt…again…and we are facing a gauntlet of a schedule. Green Bay had one ugly loss, and their fan base should not unravel. Sorry. It is too easy to be negative with this team, because I am going to be correct like 80 % of the time and who doesn’t like being correct?

However in the name of hopes and dreams IF we do win Sunday, and clearly we SHOULD be able to we are 2-2 and than you cross your fingers and pray as we run the gauntlet. If we lose to Atlanta than there will be no more talk of hopes and dreams in 2021.

In all actuality this game is as code red as code red gets. It is like fire engine red code red.

I know "should be able to win" and "should win" are not the same thing.
But I have a hard time with this narration that the Falcons are worse than us. We're coming off a beat down and they are coming off a win. It's a show down between two really bad teams at the moment.
I hope we win, but to me it's a toss up.

Oh Frenchy trust me I am the last person on this board that will be surprised if we lose. I won’t be surprised if we lose bad. I also won’t be surprised if we win. I mean ATL is definitely not Buffalo but they have a combination of qb and te that will absolutely rip our lb’s assholes in two if they drop back in coverage. Nobody in the league is plainly worse than us in the big picture or the small picture.

eh, the Giants, Jets, Jags, and Lions may have something to say about that.

We're coming off an ugly loss no doubt, and the D needs to show a dramatic turnaround really soon, but the sky isn't falling. Not yet.

Agreed we're not the worst team in the league, worst case the worst 1-2 team.

But I wouldn't say we're clearly better than the Lions right now. They're a crossbar away from being 1-2 themselves and while they've had similar results to us against 2 good teams, they were beating the Packers at HT and they outscored the 49ers 23-10 in the 2nd half of that game (but did dig themselves a hole in the 1st half).

And the Giants could have beaten us.

The positive I see is we can only get better as we have the talent on the field. It's the coaching that give me pause for thought...
