It was a good performance against a sorry team, nothing more, nothing less. Based on how the Skins played these last 2 weeks vs 2 of the worst teams in the league I see no reason to believe they can win vs Dallas and NY. They just dont score enough points.

if so, then the problem is alot bigger than Portis.

the point is, for the Redskins good or bad, Clinton Portis has been a bright spot for this offense. we don't lose games because of him, but he helps win the games we do win. maybe he's not the Barry Sanders people here expected him to be (The Lions lost most of their games in spite of Barry too) but he's unquestionably one of the positives on this team. hardly a negative.

I agree that CP has been a bright spot in an otherwise lackluster offense. He wont lose games for the skins but he wont make those 2 amazing TD runs that win games either. He's a good back in a bad offense but not the homerun hitter the team thought they were getting.
