THE NEWS Redskins cornerback Shawn Springs hyperextended his back early in Sunday's game and later strained his groin, reports the Washington Post. According to Redskins Director of Sports Medicine Bubba Tyer, Springs injured himself trying to reach out to make a play and was hit from behind. Tyer said the injury is not considered overly serious, but he will be examined Monday. Our View Springs has 41 tackles and one interception this season. If he's unable to play this week against the Cowboys, Ade Jimoh will likely start. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ I think we all can agree that once THE ADE gets into the lineup - he'll be there to stay. |
