Pretty much the way I thought this game would play out. The defense played a little better overall, but they gave up their signature big plays, and couldn't overcome the struggles on the offensive side.

It was a game that they absolutely should have won, but 0 touchdowns, 2 interceptions (probably should have been 5), less than 50% completion percentage... hard to win with QB play like that.

I hope all the Heinicke lovers have come back to reality. Every single game that he has played could have turned out just like this one. You can dismiss all the dropped interceptions, and say that every quarterback does that, but he does it at a rate that is unacceptable. He has been lucky, and luck like that is unsustainable. I don't care how f'n gritty he is, he is not the long term solution, period.

I will admit Heineken is probably not the guy when you admit Rivera probably isn’t either. Lol

I'm starting to buy in Punch.

The same mistakes over and over, week in week out - through five weeks, with no apparent accountability... It's either the coaching, or this roster is light years worse than everyone thought. I actually fear it might be both.

The eternal optimist in me has no more answers. I don't think this team can win with this defense AND Heinicke as the QB. The two are a bad combination. I need to see some real changes soon, or I'll have to start making tee times for Sundays.
