Fitz was about the only reasonable option out there as a 1 year vet placeholder. Someone who could possibly open up the playbook a bit more, give us a bottom end but legit starting QB.

Skins have mismanaged the QB position for decades but looking at just this offseason and the options available to them .. Fitz was the best of a bunch of less than desirable options.

True but IMO you draft a QB every single year. That is what Bobby B did most of the time cause it is the most important position on the field. I don't care who you have you have to draft guys and put them in your system. Right now you have Wilson who is a 3rd rounder and then you have Cousins and Prescott as 4th rounders as starters. Not every one of them is a first rounder picked in the top 10.
