Re: Around the NFL week 7
QB is a mission this off-season. I really think he wants a proven vet. Matt Ryan is my guess

Re: Around the NFL week 7
Ron better get someone in here that can play at a high level. If he doesn't have the guy in place by year 3 something is seriously wrong with the way he is building this team.

Kyle Allen was brought in here as insurance for Dwayne Haskins - again the #2. Heinicke was brought in here in an emergency situation, played well in the playoffs, and earned himself a contract to be the - you guessed it - #2. The one guy he ever brought in to be "the guy" was Cam. You can call Cam a can't miss guy, but history has proven that there really is no such thing. |

Re: Around the NFL week 7
Ron had 3 winning seasons with Cam. Not exactly a stellar record.

Re: Around the NFL week 7
But they went to the Super Bowl, more than any coaching staff this team has had in a long time.

Ron is a decent coach at best. He had one of the top QBs in the league and only managed 3 winning seasons when I bet people think he had 6 or 7 winning seasons. If anything Ron big time underachieved at Carolina. |
