As most do when they first come here, Ron clearly underestimated this black hole of a franchise and how long it would take to dig it out.
Making the playoffs at 7-9 definitely gave fans a false sense of hope that we were close. A defense that feasted on mostly backup QB's and bad teams during the stretch run last year had the same effect. |
