I dunno about that - players don't call the plays. My point is that I'm sure a lot of them see the talent but aren't able to truly appreciate the destructive influence on the locker room. Without that "big picture" perspective, I don't put a whole lot of stock in what the players consider to be "good personnel moves".

But the fact remains that he created a huge rift in the Eagles locker room. Is their locker room divided, or is it not?

You want all of your players on the same page as the coaches. TO caused that huge rift. Reid and McNabb want him gone, and a bunch of other players want him back. No matter how you cut it, that ain't good.

Also, in situations like TO when players are asked directly by the Media how they feel about a particular player in a situation like this being welcomed back to the team, they hardly ever mention anything deragatory in reference because that's the smartest way to remain neutral. Some players are naturally going to say they would welcome him back when in reality, that's the farthest thing from the truth.

Agreed, Seems as though we just went through this same topic just a little while ago, and I really don't see why we continue discussing this guy I don't care who endorses him. Any team would have to want to win very badly to have TO on their team. Granted, he may be a talent but his returns are diminishing because of his charachter.

As of now, I think we’ve heard so many stories about that young man…I don’t think anyone questions his football ability and how great he is as a football player. But in the locker room, off the field, there are some issues there. I think he’s going to have to really clean up his act, try to find some agents and people to surround himself that are very very good sound people that can help him become a stronger young man off the football field. The biggest thing that’s hurt Terrell Owens is his mouth. I mean, he can play, he can back it up by playing. I don't see it happening. As for my own personal opinion, his disruptions would only be worth dealing with if we could have him for less than $2 million per season. That of course would NEVER happen. So basically no, I don't want any part of him.

I think TO's next contract will have many behavioural clauses, coupled with his age and he will be a model teamate for about two years. If the Skins got him you would win the Division hands down. Dallas would win the Division hands down if they got him. he would change the balance of power in the NFC east.

The other day Portis and Santana Moss where invited to TO's birthday party. In the back of my mind I was wondering if there was something up with that. Portis was there but I'm not sure if Moss went.

From a talent aspect, absolutely. However, there is more to being a football player than what goes on on the football field. This team is just now getting into the mode of playing like a team - there doesn't need to be any distractions to hender that.

I would take TO. I think this year will humble him in my opinion. His mouth got him in trouble, and jepordized his career, you think that doesn't play in his mind. The next team that gets him is gonna have a steal because he will be smarter in what he says.

He wants to be payed like a top ten reciever, I can't see why he shouldn't. HE IS A TOP TEN WIDEOUT. Can we give him the money, I don't know. I know we can pay him what he wants, but can we fit him under the cap?

If you look at what he would bring to the team. ~Moss would no longer be double or triple teamed. He would free up the run for portis, and with weapons like that Rogers has no option but to succed and become better.

If we can keep Greg Williams here for next year, we would become a instant superbowl contender, can't deny the potiential

This would be different than say 2000 when we just added guys for the hell of it too, we would still have a well established team around it.
