Re: In the Hole - Post Game Thread

The miscues, the horrible QB play, and the turnovers did us in. Defense did its job, the offense sucked donkey dick. TH is holding the god damn ball too long. There were times the OL broke, but TH was getting the time needed, he was just collapsing under pressure.

I wholeheartedly agree with everything you've said.

121st meeting in regular season and Dallas has won 74 of the games. Pathetic. That is not a rivalry that is a massacre.

Dallas has struck gold in the first round of the draft over the last 5 or so years

Last 6 years
Elliot. Ok
Taco Charlton. Meh
Vander Esch Meh (didn't pick up 5th year option)
No pick but got Cooper
CeeDee Lamb has good moves but drops a lot
Parsons. Definitely the real deal

Can we play Allen for the 1st and 3rd quarters then put Heinicke in mid 2nd and 4th.

Re: In the Hole - Post Game Thread

Funny potential scenario

We win out
Dallas beats the Giants loses to Arizona

That would put the Dallas/Philly game as a game where Philly controls our fate much as they did last year only this time we are in the Giants position.

Re: In the Hole - Post Game Thread

Going into this week, TH had the 4th most Turnover worthy passes in the league with 17.

He had 2 or 3 more today.

A TWP = Passes that were dropped by the Defense or just thrown into tight coverage that were batted down.

Re: In the Hole - Post Game Thread

Today was a gut punching reality that we still need a QB and another WR

How many WR’s do you need? Samuel is coming back from Injury, Brown is a rookie, Milne is a rookie, Sims needs to play more.

Yeah, an RB that doesn't fumble and a lineman that can block Parsons are of more value than another WR. Or a CB that can cover without getting PIs every game.

People forget we are missing the following:

Chase, Montez, Smith-Williams, Toohill, Hudson, St. Juste, McKissick, Cosmi, Roullier, Schweitzer, Thomas, Slye and still being competitive says a lot. Can’t wait till we get most back.
