Definitely not. I'm just puzzled that with all the extravagant predictions of how every name could potentially become offensive one day, pretty much everybody seems to be 100% confident that naming a team after war (one of the most horrible things to ever happen to mankind, including to the brave men and women who enrol to fight in it) will never ever be considered offensive.

And just to be clear, my personal feeling is that Commanders is just boring, but I wouldn't really have any issues with a cool military name. Even Warriors was cooler. Somebody jokingly said Privates and I would actually enjoy it more than Commanders. Even Sergents would be funnier to me. Brigade, Squad...

You get the point, I don't have personally a massive issue with a military name. I'm just perplexed at the fact out of all names this would be the one considered the least offensive.
