I wish Leonsis would go back to the Bullets so bad. Abe is dead and his family no longer owns the team so not sure why they still are the Wizards. I have a Bullets hat and wear it all the time.

If it's the Commanders you know what the shorthand name will be... the Commies.

Wanna go see the Commies game on Sunday? How'd the Commies do last night?

The Washington Commies? Defeats the whole purpose.

How about just the Comms?

I mean there really isn't a shortened name for Commanders, so if people say Commies they're just going to sound dumb.

It could be even worse.

Once the season has gone down the pan perhaps Washington Commodes will make an appearance.

When Ted assumed control of the team, he invited fans to email him with suggestions and promised he would answer all. I did just that and suggested he bring back Bullets. He (or one of his minions) answered. He did not say no, but that they had some other work to do first and then would consider it.

I am perplexed as to why I have not heard back from Jason Wright.
