I'm fine with the OT rules as they are now. It used to be a FG could win it, now you need a TD. Step up and play some D.

Agree. Buffalo had two chances to stop KC and they didn't. In one of those chances KC had less that 2 minutes to work with. The OT rules arent the problem, Buffalo's D was.

Agreed. People saying it's sad to see this game getting decided by a coin toss forget they played a full drive of 11 on 11 football after that... The rules make perfect sense as they are. You have 60 minutes to win the game, after that yeah there's an element of sudden death.

I won't disagree per se, but it's worth considering that with 2 good offenses and 2 poor defense's (arguably not the case with this game), then it is very much down to the coin toss. Had the Bills won the toss, it wouldn't be at all surprising to have seen them march down the field the same way. I'm not arguing for a rule change, but I can see the argument for 1 possession each.

Yeah I'm not saying the argument is completely absurd, and the NCAA/International rules make sense too (btw, putting this overtime issue aside, just overall, I think the NCAA/IFAF rules make way more sense than the NFL ones).
I just get worked up by this "decided by the coin toss" argument. Like, they did play the drive.

Also, every body is getting this OT rules playoffs stats than 10 out of 11 coin toss winners won the game since the rule change... but forget the regular season stats which are 86-67-10 for the coin toss winner, only a 52.8 win percentage...
