Re: Tom Brady Officially Retires
Yeah hated him during his heydey too but he's undeniably the GOAT. Always wanted him to lose but now that he's gone I appreciate his greatness for what it is - it's highly unlikely we'll see any qb have any run close to his in our lifetimes.

Re: Tom Brady Officially Retires
Probably THE most overrated QB in the history of the NFL. If it weren't for the coaching staffs and great defenses he was lucky to have, he'd be nothing more than a blip on the NFL historical radar.
Greatest Of All Turds whose luck finally ran out. Good riddance. |

Re: Tom Brady Officially Retires
Just kidding. I wanted to see him play until he was 50.
What he accomplished is unbelievable, and will never be done again. |

Re: Tom Brady Officially Retires
If he was on Washington, I would be jizzing along with everyone else. He is definitely the greatest, but that being said, bye Felicia.
The bad man can't hurt us anymore.

Re: Tom Brady Officially Retires
Not just QB, but sports figure in general. I cannot even think of a comparable feat in any of the four major sports.

Will never happen. Almost a zero percent chance that will happen. He nor any of the other former retirees could make it on the Champions Tour. They'd get slaughtered. Do you understand how good those guys are out on that tour? |

I don't doubt you but the minute you say something is impossible the more I believe it's possible.

Huge huge difference between being a scratch or better player to a tournament tour player. |

28-3 was impossible, until it happened. In 1999 did you believe there would ever be a day where a QB would make 10 Super Bowl appearances and win 7 of them? I ain't saying plenty of retired guys could make the tour - but longer odds have paid off.

Re: Tom Brady Officially Retires
GOAT. Feel lucky to have discovered this sport while he was still playing. Feel lucky to have witnessed several of his rings live at freakin 5am. Would have enjoyed to see him play some more, but it's probably the smartest move to walk away while on top of his game.
