Wintson or Trubisky = Im fine with either. Theyre both dark clouds with silver linings. Im starting to think we might not even be able to land either.

Apparently we inquired about Mahomes. No joke. Why not? 2 second phone call I imagine.

Hello? Hello?
I’d be more scared about getting a QB from Andy Reid again. The whole time I’d be like what does he know?!

Re: 2022 veteran QB options

Amazing how not playing a year takes some of the tarnish off a guy. We could have signed MT a year ago on the cheap but instead went with a 38 year old Fitzpatrick.

Just no Jimmy G who is under going shoulder surgery and will not be able to throw until summer. There is no way in hell I want Jimmy G.
HA!

I would be fine with either MT or JW as well. I would just prefer MT if those are the two choices.

Could have signed JW a year ago too, as he was a free agent, but as you said we went with Fitz and paid him twice as much.

Can't blame JW for staying in NO with Payton. This time around is a little different for him.

I'm not advocating for JW, just saying I'd take him over MT, if all other options are off the table.

Re: 2022 veteran QB options

What are you paying these guys?

These guys want to start and get paid so they will be expecting starter money.

Wentz made $32m last year.
Jimmy G made $28m.

Get the rookie and stack the line.

Yup. Stack the line. Go get a mlb and a safety in free agency and or the draft. Pray that McKissic n LT stay healthy and win a bunch of games.

The biggest mistake we would make is sending a high draft pick for Jimmy G and then signing him to a 20+ mil per year deal. The guy is getting fucking shoulder surgery…on his fucking throwing arm.

We can’t be this fucking stupid…can we?

Teams can be stupid when it comes to paying QBs (see Sam Bradford, Kirk Cousins, Nick Foles, etc., etc.)

Cousins is better than Foles and Sam tho, he's consistently putting up top 15 numbers. Foles was a 1 hit wonder

Say what you want about Foles but he is a SB champion, something Cousins will never be.

This has nothing to do with who's better than who, this is a group of QBs that have not played to the expectations of their contract and money in terms of wins, playoff appearances, etc,. etc. But it also shows that teams always are going to overpay QBs, and the market of QBs will dictate that.

And I picked these QBs since they are in Andrew Brandt's Business Hall of Fame list.
