My crystal ball says it will most likely be Trubisky who will be signed at the start of the free agency period; and if that's the case, I do not see them drafting a QB in the 1st round, maybe not at all.

I see a lot of hate on Trubisky, but after the pipe dream that is Wilson/Rodgers/Watson, he is probably the best option. The biggest knock on him coming out of the draft was experience. He has that experience now. He has starting experience (and playoff experience), and he has sat and learned behind one of the best young QBs in the NFL today, with the benefit of being surrounded by really good coaches there in Buffalo for the last year. Some of you think he's trash, but I'd rather take a chance on him than take a flier on one of these not-so-heralded prospects coming out of college this year.

No way RR drafts one of these QBs in round 1 and gives them the keys...no chance.

Regardless of who we get in free agency, we need to draft a young guy the team likes. We need a young guy in that QB room.

I don't think that's a given. It depends on who they get via free agency/trade - if anyone. And MT is only 27. He's still a young guy. If they sign him it's going to for the long term, not as a bridge - and TH will be his backup.

Now if they end up signing a guy like Dalton, T Taylor, Brissett, or no one...then yeah they have to draft a QB.
