So if there are no criminal charges, are we going after Watson? The question is: will the NFL punish Watson after the civil cases have been settled? Honestly, I don't get the point of suspension, after he was in a de facto suspension last year.
This whole Watson situation is crazy.

He has some weird thing he's into, but does taking a man's livelihood help him move past it? I don't think so (if not found guilty of a crime).

At the same time, where we are as a franchise, I don't think we're the best spot for him. But every team can justify not signing (if released)/trading for him based on that.

I hope he can play somewhere next year. And if it's for us, I'll support him 100% (if legally cleared).
