Im more high than low on him for a few reasons. 1. He’s better than Heineke and we almost made the playoffs last year. 2. We were not getting Wilson or Watson, he’s the next best option. 3. He knows the NFCE very well and has a winning record in the division. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That said, I'm more than happy to see what he can do in this offense. It's definitely a step up. You can argue how much of an upgrade he is, and we will find out soon enough, but he is most definitely an upgrade. We were going to have to pay somebody if we wanted to upgrade the position, and we didn't give up much for him. All good IMO. |

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
I like the move. If we can add a stud WR in the 1st round, the offense could take a huge step forward. Regardless of your opinion on Wentz, he is a HUGE upgrade over Heinicke, whom I still love as a backup.

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
I feel way better about going into 2022 with Wentz than I did going into 2021 with Fitz. So for me, it was a good move. The only outcome you can honestly say would have been better - for sure - is if they were able to land Wilson/Watson/Rodgers. They took a big swing for Wilson, Rodgers went back to GB, and Watson is still in legal limbo.
I'm not exactly sure what you debbie downers expect the team to do. They swung for the fence and ended up with a stand-up triple. I'll take it. |

Have you returned your Mitch jersey and ordered the new Wentz jersey?

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
My reaction to Wentz being traded is simple.
He has this season to save his career as an NFL starter. Dan 0

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
What is odd to me is why did the colts give up on him? Especially Frank Reich. I watched the first hard knocks episode last night, that guy loved Carson. They don't have a QB in the wings and we gave them really nothing to solve that issue in the trade.
I can see why the Eagles moved on from him, they had Hurts who they feel is better, fine and that got a 1st round pick for Carson. Just red flags too me.
