^^ Wentz press conf ... Ron opened with a Happy Thanksgiving .. Carson thanked people then took Q&A https://youtu.be/2audMmrUMU4 ^^ Carson 1 on 1 interview w Julie Donaldson, havent watched this yet https://youtu.be/iik25wqIuFo ^^ clip of a tense exchange btw Carson had w Ben Standing at the end, not taking anymore questions .. Standing was being pushy but not a good first look for Carson |

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
They didn't hold a presser for Fitz did they? This is a long term move for Washington

https://youtu.be/Xjhr0dlF7Do ---------- With Wentz, it seems they want to not extend him so that his contract stays as is so they can get out next year if he gets injured or doesnt fit. If they extend him or rework his contract so some cap hit this year becomes a bonus in future years .. then maybe they see him as a long term answer. |

Ok I already like this guy just cause of what he is wearing. Love the shirt and the jacket! Those are Redskin colors!!!! Not that cheap cranberry shit. Chips are stacked against him, and I still feel like we should draft someone but I'm rooting for this guy. He doesn't even need to get back to 2017 to stabilize things here. Go get him a wr in the first round to go along w/ Terry. |

Honestly didnt expect Carson Wentz to go that hard .. I loved it as well. I was worried. I checked his instagram after the news and nothing. His agent I didnt hear anything. I was worried he might not be happy. Carsons answers made me like him. Took credit and admitted his bad play at the end of the season. Def a real man of god and not just lip service. Carson won the press conf. |

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
Bruce would have made the trade for Wentz and immediately signed him to an extension.
Smart that we're letting this play out. Easy out next year if it doesn't work. |

It is, but we will still gave up alot in free agency for it to play out. Definitely some players we probably would have kept, and some we couldn’t go after. That being said I understand why Ron had to do what he did, and am really hoping we see 2017-2019 Carson Wentz. That would really be nice. Lol. |

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
I like Wentz's answer about going to play in Philly -- "I'm very aware of it and I'll be ready."

Time to go bird hunting. Although shooting an eagle, is un-American as fuck. Maybe just a tranquilizer dart lol.

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
Carson needs a strong line, and Turners help. We definitely need another WR, Samuel, LT, and JD staying on the field would be pretty damn great too!
He needs to stay focused, and not panic. If he has protection and weapons that will go a long way towards focus. It isn’t like he is limited in arm strength as alot of previous quarterbacks were. By the time the season starts I will be so drunk on koolaid about him being 2017 Wentz. Lol |
