Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
The o-line surely didn't do Wentz too many favors, but Wentz's lack of pocket awareness and propensity to hold on to the ball created about 3 or 4 sacks.

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
I didn't watch the game live, thank god, and probably wont look at the highlights. Every player has weaknesses in their game, we know Wentz (and pretty much every QB) is better when given time by the OL. Fact is coaches and FO need to set him up to succeed not throw him to the lions(eagles) and leave his weaknesses exposed. They invested a lot in him, but they went cheap on the oline in the offseason. Total FO & coaching failure. Offense could have been, may still be, good but we sunk our cap dollars into overrated CBs

I was concerned about the O-line going into this game, more concerned than I was about the defense, which actually played well early on. There were a couple times where he held on to the ball too long, but that O-line was pretty terrible in pass protection last night, probably worse than what he had in Indy. If this is what the O-line is moving forward, ST needs to come up with a better plan, and should have made the necessary adjustments earlier in that game yesterday to give them a chance. |

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
The OL sucked yesterday but Wentz also cant hold on to the ball for fucking 4 seconds, that's common QB knowledge

Our coaches can work all they want, but when you aren’t as smart as the other coaches it doesn’t matter. Throw in lesser talent because of a coach who isn’t as smart as other gm’s and ya get shit on a stick. |

Id say its 70% O line and 30% Wentz on Sunday. To many OL guys getting beat 1 on 1 quickly. Bu this was the concern going in ... O line has benefited from a quick passing scheme and screens for 2 years now. What happens when they have to hold up for longer? What happens when you bring in Wentz, who gives us the down field ability, but also is not an ideal quick pass QB? -------- I thought the pass pro was going to be an issue ... BUT I DIDNT EXPECT IT TO BE AN ISSUE AGAINST A 4 MAN FUCKING RUSH! If we cant block 4 guys ... you cant run an NFL playbook. They get to drop 7 in coverage taking away the quick hit routes and get pressure within 3 seconds only rushing 4??? |

I thought re-tweets were good for the original poster? Fuck, social media is the dumbest shit ever hoisted on mankind.
