Re: Commanders Free Agency Tamper Window
Yes there is a lot of FA to go and there will be bargains to be had, but do we really want to be going back to the Jon Bostic bargain bin of starting MLB for a third year? That was one position where investment in one of the many good options would have paid real dividends. I just have this sinking feeling we will once again be entering training camp with a real need at linebacker

So it would be amazing to me that they do the same mistake 2 years in a row, let Bostic go and say "meeeh we'll just draft a guy and sign a couple of UDFA"...

Now, I imagine that Wagner doesn't particularly want to come here. So, we need to offer him significantly more money than any other team. Take your best shot, RR! Edit: From Cowboy Country website 3/14/22: FRISCO - The Dallas Cowboys are involved in what a source terms "exploratory'' talks with just-cut Seattle Seahawks franchise icon linebacker Bobby Wagner. Wagner, who will be 32 in June, has a connection with Dallas defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, who once held the same role in Seattle. And Quinn, we're told, would be central to Wagner's decision to come to the Cowboys for less money than he might get elsewhere. Don't let this happen! |

Re: Commanders Free Agency Tamper Window
I see this as an exception to the rule, especially when you consider the typically low quality of the "two or three players" we have signed in FA in the past. Also, I doubt that RR has two or three years left to build a winner before he is fired by Mrs. Snyder.
