Just curious, how do you know Shawn Alexander would not stand for Maurice Morris getting 8 rushing TDs? |

Re: Portis/game
Key to victory is running Portis outside. Those plays were money almost every time!

i think Betts is a good back, but i think Rock could take his place without a hitch. Betts has missed a lot more games than Portis as a BACKUP, and Rock is even more of a change of pace than Betts being a former FullBack and all. Betts is just on my shit list right now taking Randy Thomas out while fumbling. if we could get something decent for him, i'd take it.

Re: Portis/game
I could be wrong but weren't a lot of those outside pitches to Portis counter plays??
I don't recall seeing that this year, looked like a new wrinkle to the running game. |

With the counter trey the ball is handed off, pitch is a pitch, linemen are alway's pulling on a pitch, or sweep play. counter has a misdirection to it. |

Gibbs loves Brown, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Molinaro in there giving him some rest, the word was he was knocking D-linemen 5 yards back off the line in practices in the pre-season, I remember hearing the guy is very powerful, at least we have some hopefully pretty good backups, I to would be concerned with Brown if he has to get out and run. |
