I'd say yes too but really what they need is a big bruiser...Gibson/JD/Patterson all similar traits which are good...but how great would a big guy be that was solid at the 3rd and 1 carries...and could line up in a FB role as well...if there is such a thing in this offense.

I would have Logan Thomas do the short yardage situations. We did that a few times 2 years ago and it was successful every time if I remember correctly.

I would have thought that Bates is the best guy for that sort of job
