Lol. Will never happen. Just like every other government program/decision/etc., a bunch of fat cats will all get their cut too. Nothing will change. Then we will need a new bailout in x number of years.

Government creates the problems then does nothing to actually fix them, while spending billions of dollars, and we are told it must be done.

Rinse and repeat. Our federal government is a laughable joke. I agree with Sunny, that we are fucked. But likely for different reasons.

So the costs of going to college was completely reasonable until 2016?

And I lived in the real world, my parents and myself paid 100% of my college education all the way thru grad school.
