Seems like a majority of democrats want an unlimited number immigrants to flow into the county by saying the magic asylum word. But want Texas, AZ, and FL to deal with all the people.

Well except for the ones that Biden flies all over the country without word or complaint from anyone.

Under the Biden administration, we're not even a sovereign nation anymore. Anyone can just get to the border, say asylum, and walk right in. Our new immigration policy is: Make it to the border.
That has been the case since 1980. Refugee Act of 1980. Immigration right now is a shit show. Hardline stance won't work and hasn't that just encourages people to find more dangerous pathways into country, encourages more human trafficking and prevents us from actually knowing the details and impacts of the issue. What we are doing now isn't working either.

The problem I have with DeSantis and his stunt is that well yes the burden is falling on border states they are gladly utilizing (and they should be) federal money to supply and create the necessary infrastructure for the problem. So his state receives resources from all 50 states to support refugees in his state but he willfully sends people to a place where there is no infrastructure to support them. I just don't see how that is beneficial to resolving the issue.
