I wish he could prepare as well as he rallies. Its not good for our hearts to have all these code reds.

Re: Ron Rivera

I just wish that RR's teams wouldn't have such slow starts every year. It's maddening. We could easily have won v. Detroit, Minn, and Tenn. (Of course, we won squeakers against the Colts, Bears, and Packers too.)

He still insisted on Hiring Scott Turner, so he is not perfect

Re: Ron Rivera

The key was benching Wentz. Not meaning to throw it all on him but the chemistry was just way off. Some was obviously on Turner. We don't have a QB that can chuck it around 45+ times, even though we have the pass catchers to do it. They need to be balanced at 60% runs and 40% passes.

Re: Ron Rivera

more good then bad. Team seems committed to him and he's kept most of the drama out of the locker room. I wish he benched WJ3 earlier though.

Think they could have been more economical with their words, "Ron Rivera apparently had no clue" would have sufficed

Yes. Yes it would have. All kidding aside how in the absolute hell are you the HC and have no idea that losing todays game puts you in a position where you can be eliminated today? This guy is a joke.

Honestly I think he was confident they would win and that what anyone else does didn't matter. Think he was also confident they would beat the Giants twice. They should have won all three, but if Ron was overconfident the team feeds off of that and it reflected in the effort the last 4 games, minus 49ers

I think you are being too kind. Ron definitely had no idea that next weeks game might not matter. The question was in reference to who would play quarterback against Dallas if the game didn’t matter. After a long pause he asks “we can be eliminated “? WTF? This is after the L, so forget about winning and not caring about other teams. That ship sailed when your team shit the bed. At that point the reporters, fans, and the dude who collects scrap metal out of the local dumpsters in town all knew that next weeks game might be meaningless but the HC didn’t? Thats absolutely bat shit crazy.

That is typically when you lose, underestimating your opponent.

His losing seasons certainly are. This oblivious response is just the cherry on top of a mountain of head scratching decisions both on the field as HC, and off the field as GM.

Re: Ron Rivera

Time to go.

3 years and NO winning seasons.

The fluke division title was only because Dak got hurt.

Ron is a great guy and a players coach but he’s old and outdated. It’s time for this whole staff to be gone.

They won’t do it though which pisses me off the most
