Re: Approval Rating???

i was afraid after the last two weeks of dreadful offense that we'd gone back to the failed 2004 scheme... i was hoping against hope it was a rope-a-dope for tuna but doubted it. Turns out it was, he used a flea flicker, a reverse, and deep passes to moss in coverage. He didn't need to do much after that.

Other than a couple couple plays it was the exact same scheme they have run since the SD game. It is amazing how good a scheme is when players actually execute it well and how bad the scheme must be when they don't. Me thinks it is beoming more apparent that many of our issues resided with execution rather than scheme as many had thought (including I).

That's it right there. When the execution is there, it opens the playcalling up even more. However, what Gibbs called Sunday is EXACTLY what this offense is all about.

We might make the playoffs, we might not. Either way, I am very excited with the direction this team is taking.

other than a couple plays we werent calling so the defense could keep 8-9 in the box every play... the playcalling was way different than the last few weeks cause we purposefully went deep even with good coverage and tried trick plays we haven't been using. the scheme was different and it helped.
