If this team were 0-7 maybe they would consider it, but they are still in it, and could be .500 by Sunday evening. I just don't see them trading him unless they are blown away with an offer. He's too important to this defense. I doubt they would be willing to roll with Allen, Wise, Ridgeway, Bada at DT.

WJ3 though, I could see them trading him since he's pretty much been benched, but I am not sure what you could get for him, or if he is actually hurt - which would complicate that idea.

I get the hate for Belicheck it's easy to do but Brady isn't as great without Belicheck either as is showing now. They are both TGOAT and while both are very dislikeable both are still GOAT.

Brady is 45 and has won a SB with TB. Belichick playoffs and one and out. Brady is still playing well despite his age and personal issues.

Belichick's teams haven't been close to elite post Brady. As mentioned, Brady has already won a SB without Belichick. So far, Brady over Belichick in this discussion.

Looking forward to the game tomorrow night Baltimore @ Tampa. Actually a decent Thursday game. Tampa really needs this W if they are going to get going this year. Jackson v. Brady is intriguing to me.

Exactly. Belichick without Brady does not equal Brady without Belichick. While the two of them together produced arguably the greatest and longest tenured "dynasty", since they have been separated, it is fairly easy to decipher who was the most important part of that duo.

But Father Time is in the process of claiming his latest victim. It was inevitable.

To me they are like a Reeses Peanut Butter Cup. BB still won 10 games with Mac Jones. Won 11 one year with Cassell.
Neither one was more important for the New England dynasty. Brady got that Superbowl with a great team, but that in no way discounts how important BB’s defense was for every one of those championships. Put Brady on any other team and there is no way he wins 6 in that span. Not without BB. Mastermind with personnel, playcalling, schemes. Best ever. That’s just my opinion to a question that nobody will ever actually be able to answer. Lol

Edit: id also mention BB won two Superbowls with the Giants. They don’t win without him and that defense. No way. That is 8 for BB

Put Brady with Gibbs 80’s, 90’s teams 10 SB’s.

Brady is great and Bill is great but lets not act like the 2020 Bucs werent a completely stacked roster from head to toe

I'm not acting like anything. The Bucs were fairly stacked, just like pretty much every SB winning team is/was, including the Patriots teams we are talking about.

And you are right, as are others, who have said that both Brady and BB are great. My point was that - in my opinion, Brady was the most important piece of that dynasty puzzle. If you want to put equal weight to them both, that's cool. I'm not going to argue that. Like Punch said, it's a question that nobody will ever actually be able to answer.

Agreed. Let's not forget we already lost Ioannidis and Settle. I feel like we keep having this notion that we're not going to be able to keep all the talent we have at Dline... but at some point we're still gonna have to pay some guys !
I'd feel more comfortable losing Sweat than Payne at this point. Not a knock on Sweat at all, just that I like our depth at DE more than DT. Even with Obada being a nice surprise.
