It's a lock that new owners will change the name. Anything and everything that has Snyders fingers on it will be dumped with the name being the obvious first thing to go.

I doubt it would happen but if it did I think it would do wonders for the fans. I was kinda down on Redwolves at first, I've come around on it. I would do fucking back flips to have that name. That is how much I detest Commanders.

i kind hate the name commanders as well, its just so lame, but i do like the W logo. i wish we stuck with the WFT and the new W logo.

honestly ... the word "commanders" doesnt even enter my mind or cross my lips.

I say skins mostly, sometimes redskins.

My brain doesnt equate commanders with our team at all.

My brain just refuses to "update" that specific file.

I'm pretty sure the biggest priority for a new owner will be to turn this organization into a functional one, and get a stadium deal done as soon as possible.

I know it has been reported that he was interested in buying an NFL team. I think I've been hearing that for like three years now. Heard it a lot locally after Pat Bowlen died - as some speculated Bezos might try to buy the Broncos.

I don't know if it is true - that he wants to be an NFL owner, but I assume he could be on the list of potential buyers. Doesn't he live in the D.C area?

I guess he probably lives everywhere...probably has a house on every continent.

Whether Dan stays or goes it's still not the Redskins. If it were still the Redskins I would be right w/ everyone in celebration- but we are still the Commanders so meh..

Wow, busy day at work yesterday, so just found out all at once this morning, reading all 5 pages of this thread was an emotional roller coaster !
This is huge, it's been confirmed since, but like has been said, from the start this statement didn't feel like a minority sell move, it sounded like Brady's divorce statement with the formal "we remain dedicated to the happiness of our beautiful kids / success of this team".

Still can't believe it though... crazy !
Hope the new owner isn't Besos though, that man seems even more egotistical than Snyder, I'd love a group buy, or just somebody that is smart enough to stay HANDS OFF.
