I got that, but where's the thing saying this was a catch and release? I know people like to rail against it (ie it should be illegal to be poor/being charged is the same as being guilty), but I'm not seeing anything in this thread saying the perps were catch+release or shooting people after being caught and released for some other crime they were awaiting trial on.

The sheriffs that rail against cashless bail in public go to congressional hearings and say it's not a big deal and does not increase crime rates in any meaningful way. So if you're getting different information that is actually factual (not anecdotal/political misinformation), I'd like to know so I can take a look at it. |
