The team did talk to the 49ers, they either had reservations or Jimmy G said no thanks (I would assume, since nothing came of it).

It was all about the shoulder with Jimmy G. That is the only reason he is still in SF. They got lucky as hell.

I have to think we'll be serious contenders to land him this offseason, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if SF tried to bring him back, especially if they make a run in the playoffs. He's top 10 in just about every QB stat there is this year. Sure Kyle gets some credit, but at some point you have to give credit where credit is due - to Jimmy.

Hopefully with a new owner, stellar defence and many offensive weapons , Washington will start to look attractive to FA QBs like Garoppolo. Still he will ask for a lot of money

Jimmy will want too much $$ and I'm tired of getting these QBs from other teams. Let's see what TH can do and if Sam is good or not.
