Re: Houston has a problem post game
This defense is legit, far better than we even saw in 2020.

Re: Houston has a problem post game
The run d is great and they can also rush the passer.. We lack that explosive rusher like Dallas has but we make up for it with the interior DL

Re: Houston has a problem post game
The final 6 games
V ATLANTA @ NYG V NYG @ SF V BROWNS V DALLAS If we limit the TO's and play this way on defense I could see 5-1 or 4-2 That gets you to 10 wins and most likely a WC spot

Re: Houston has a problem post game
I definitely think 10 wins is the magic number, very doable if they keep up this current play.

Re: Houston has a problem post game
Got to sweep the Giants. Dallas will be tough. And SF is playing a lot better these days.

Houston has a problem post game
Yup those Giant games are huge but let’s just concentrate on the Falcons. Getting full rest. Hopefully finally getting Chase back. Maybe Holcomb?
Home game. It is a must win. 4 home games is huge if the crowd shows up in the right colors. |

Re: Houston has a problem post game
I hope the Eagles go 16-1. So forever we fucked up their perfect regular season.
We're not catching them anyways. Might as well have them help us out along the way while being the team that beat them.

Re: Houston has a problem post game
Oh, side note, credit to those of you who've been raving about John Bates' blocking for weeks. If I'm being honest, without paying extra attention to him, I was like "yeah he's doing the job, and it's been a while since we had a decent blocking TE, but the "top blocking TE in the league" talk is over the top, it's not like he's mauling people Gronk or Georges Kittle style"...
But for the first time this week I saw him legitimately maul people. He's not the most physical TE in the league, but he's consistently blocking and he has the ability to pancake someone every now and then.

Re: Houston has a problem post game
+1
Feels good to be competing with the top teams in the league, but I'm under no illusions about a deep playoff run. I will say if we actually do get into the playoffs and Heinicke keeps growing as a qb, all it takes is getting hot at the right time. Beyond that anything can happen - that's how Cincy ended up in the SB last year.

What sucks this year is it is really up for grabs in the NFC if we had a justin herbet type QB, we be nfc SB favorites.

Re: Houston has a problem post game
This is true, but Joe B has regressed to the mean this year. If Heinicke could take that Kirk C. type leap anything could happen. Big if though.
