The #9 defense in the league isn't what I'd consider "average." The Panthers are playing steady football at the moment.

Not sure what metric you are using but they are 13th in DVOA

I don't care about some damn metric. Even if I did, 13th still isn't average.

Regardless, based on league rankings, the Bills are ranked 9th.
