No, but that was just bad faith by the ref to give him approval and throw the flag.
I have never seen that and it’s completely away from the play. Like seriously wtf?

I realise it is probably a niaive question, please excuse my ignorance, but does Terry M not know where he is supposed to line up without reference to the official? I never see any other receivers checking with the official and they aren't getting called for offsides. I realise Terry is trying to make sure but it seems odd that he was relying on the official rather than just looking left and knowing. It was a garbage move by the official without doubt, but surely Terry doesn't rely on them that much. I guess he has learnt his lesson and now knows not to trust the line judge.
