Re: Dawg pound Pre Game thread
Howell, SMH
As usual the unknown is the most popular guy in town. I'm going to keep my expectations at rock bottom for him. Because chances are he's the next Joe Schmoe rather than the next Joe Montana. |

Dawg pound Pre Game thread

He is the most popular guy in town because there is a glimmer of hope he is the guy. We know what we have in Wentz and TH. It is silly not to hope he pans out. Anyway it is a dream scenario. I have no idea if Howell is going to be good or not, but the jury is pretty much out on the other two. |

Re: Dawg pound Pre Game thread
Howell probably won’t ever be an elite QB.. he was a 6th round pick but that doesn’t always mean he can’t be a good starter. I’d like to see what he has but the coaches that see him every day know the truth

Re: Dawg pound Pre Game thread
Yeah, they see 2 3rd rounders and $28 million invested and don’t want to look like idiots. That’s what that is.

Yup. I agree. I am extremely doubtful that Howell wouldn’t be able to avoid pressure better than Wentz, or throw further than Heineke. I think any quarterback in the league could do those two things. Once again with our weapons, run game, and D a “capable “ quarterback would do wonders. Someone in between Joe Schmoe and Joe Montana. Lol Our o line sucks but that is why we need someone who can evade the rush and Howell can. At least better than Wentz. |

Maybe, and maybe they feel he hasn't had a fair shake here yet

Re: Dawg pound Pre Game thread
Agree chances are he won’t even be a starter based on draft position alone. I’d like to see him but will defer to the coaches expertise.

Howell just needs to play. Sitting for a year really doesn't do him any good. Had he got his chance he would have made a lot plays, but he would also have some turnovers- pretty much what we are getting from the two guys in front of him. |

Re: Dawg pound Pre Game thread
Lol Thom Loverro says Wentz back is probably another Dan Snyder instigated move.
I doubt that

Nah Wentz looked sharp Sunday and made plays. The ball was flying out of his hand too. There is no comparison of who the Better passer is Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
