He's only 31 so age isn't a factor. He's not my first choice, but he's not a hard pass either. He has to be considered, and they did inquire about him last year, so the interest is (was) there. But if bringing him in means they would be unable to make other necessary upgrades, especially the O-line, then it wouldn't be too smart. |

He and his brother can get on twitter and bitch and moan about the Raiders but stats dont lie... I would stay far away from Carr

I don't like saying anything nice about Kurt, but this is true.

Re: Commanders 2023 Off-Season Thread
I sincerely hope Washington passes on Carr. If Washington signs him, it will be another year with a washed-up quarterback with a big salary. There is a reason the Raiders are letting him go, he is a marginal quarterback at best. I wouldn't put it past Rivera to sign him to cover up his failures with another splashy signing. There are other posts with his statistics, look at them before you jump on the Carr bandwagon. He is in the same category as Wentz.

Re: Commanders 2023 Off-Season Thread
I just hope we hire an OC. Gonna be the last job filled in the NFL at this pace.

Re: Commanders 2023 Off-Season Thread
When Snyder sells not one of us will give a shit who the OC, QB, HC, or guy selling loose joints in the parking lot is because the level of joy seeing that douchebag forced out might be better than a Superbowl.

Re: Commanders 2023 Off-Season Thread
The #Commanders will interview #Chiefs OC Eric Bieniemy tomorrow for their still-vacant OC job, source said. He's a top candidate. They spoke with Greg Roman yesterday, which went well, and have no other interviews scheduled.

Re: Commanders 2023 Off-Season Thread
Sounds like it's EB as the first choice, Roman 2nd, and Shurmur is the fallback option.

Re: Commanders 2023 Off-Season Thread
if you won two SB in the past 4 years with the most dynamic offense around and the only gig you can find is WSH that is a red flag

Maybe he's looking at RR as a lame duck and if he does a great job he could be in line for the next HC opening here. Who knows. There's also a lot to like about the offensive talent here. |

Look how fast the PHL coordinators were snatched up. But lets be honest EB and Greg R are probably about the best we are going to do
