I think you're kidding, but...

Top 5 (maybe 10) overall, perhaps. But I think those are pretty lofty expectations for a rookie CB for week 1, just because he was drafted in the 1st round. Maybe as the season progresses, or by year 2.

I think I'll believe the overwhelming praise from many coaches and players, over one player who didn't like his approach and the fact that EB called him out for fumbling...

I get that and agree w/ you and Grid. Just taking a wait and see approach. Not saying he wasn't the man for the job. He's been w/ Reid now for several years. He's been around one of the best guys in the league as far as offense goes. It just seemed like the situation in KC was really strange. It's like they were pushing him out the door almost. And then him constantly getting passed over for head jobs.

Wait and see is the right approach. I'm with you there. The whole EB situation is/was strange, and something doesn't add up. I am hopeful that he was just wrongfully judged all those times he didn't get the HC job, and he is able to get this offense going, but it's equally possible that he won't. We just don't know. What I do know is, we weren't going anywhere with S Turner's offense, and EB has a year to prove that he is the man for the job. I have mediocre expectations for a lot of reasons.

@john_keim
First day of voluntary OTA workouts for the Commanders. All but 3 attended: Chase Young, Montez Sweat and Charles Leno, Jr. Per source. Again: voluntary.

Wish we could have traded Young around the draft. I'm totally over him.

Extend Sweat and let all the other guys fill the other side.

Not heard about Leno wanting a new deal. If anyone is justified is staying away it would be Cam Kurl, but he is there......

Leno deserves a new deal. And not one he would like.

I imagine it'll be anti-slapp or something. wanting $500 billion for not being able to buy a $6billion team that you have $0billion to purchase it with is laughable.

who the f is going to ever allow someone that litigious to ever join their league?
