Yea the name ain’t the issue … the mascot is a nuthin burger .. none of that matters .. WHAT does matter is the Sale and a house cleaning from top to bottom !

Exactly.. and honestly commanders has grown on me . It’s not bad at all

The reason the name is as good a dead is not because it is unpopular (it is), it is because it was picked by Snyder. No branding action taken by Snyder will survive the sell of the team. The owners (and the NFL) will want to cleanse as much of Snyder as it can from the franchise (and the NFL). The only way the name survives is if Snyder doesn't sell the team.

I get that but did the Panthers change their name after a racist owner? Clippers too...
