Re: Cowboys Pregame thread
I say Howell will go something like 15/27 for 150 yards, 1 TD, at least two INT, probably a fumble, and get sacked 4 or 5 times

Re: Cowboys Pregame thread
One thing I know, while beating the cowboys would be satisfying…let’s get that higher draft pick. If Howell could deliver 3-4 scorning drives, that would be yuge

Re: Cowboys Pregame thread
I don't really care about the outcome of this game. The only thing I will be looking at in this game is Howell's progress.

The Cowboys are gonna throw everything at Howell, including the kitchen sink.

Re: Cowboys Pregame thread
Same here. I'll say this though. If Howell is good enough for us to beat the Cowboys who will be playing for the div/1st seed, surrounded by 3rd stringer, then i really don't care about sliding down in the draft !

Re: Cowboys Pregame thread
Really hope the Giants beat the Eagles and we somehow beat the Cowboys. Knock the Cowboys out of the 1 seed.

Re: Cowboys Pregame thread
Just saw Keim's podcast and one interesting nugget I got from the podcast was that the players are excited to see Howell play, I think this is a great sign.

Re: Cowboys Pregame thread
I think it's great if the players are excited to see him play, but I'm not sure what else they are going to say at this point. Nobody's going to say they would rather not see him take the field.
With the limited personnel around him, some who haven't seen the field all year just like him, he's probably going to be a mixed bag - some good and some terrible, and likely on the losing end when it's all said and done. Just give us hope for next year. 1. Show that you belong and that the game isn't too fast for you. 2. Don't get hurt. 3. Beat Dallas. Last edited by Chief X_Phackter; 01-09-2023 at 12:19 AM. |

Re: Cowboys Pregame thread
Valid point.. I suppose it's just how Keim explained it, it seemed as if the players are genuinely excited about it, rather than being forced to say it.

Re: Cowboys Pregame thread
My rose colored prediction- Eagles lose, Howell plays amazing, Commies win on last second miracle keeping Dallas out of 1st. Fans beat the shit out of Huddy after the game and we have a good laugh.
My realistic prediction- The team quits, Howell gets massacred, retirement of Sonny's #9 is complete embarrassment, Commies lose by 30+, Cowboys wipe their ass with Huddys face. In either case Huddy will get punked tomorrow.
